About

At ChimpkinNBean's Mousery we strive to provide healthy, well-tempered, stunning mice.

We are a small scale Mousery located in Southwest Florida only having a limited number of litters as we move forward with our breeding goals, all of our mice are given proper housing with lots of enrichment. We are currently registered with the FMBA (Fancy Mouse Breeders Association) and follow their standards.

All of our available mice have gone through a set of tests to ensure we only adopt out healthy, well-tempered mice. All of our breeding animals are from strong healthy well-established lines. We currently mainly produce pet type, show type is available every so often.

Availability of certain coloration/coat types depends on current breeding plans, we have a main focus on producing blue, color point, and fox mice.

Any varieties that have "*" next to them are pet type only, any without are show type or both.

Purchasing a Mouse

All mice are available for purchase once they are 6-8 weeks old, females must be adopted out in pairs unless you plan on housing them with an established group.

Pricing:
Pet Type - $10 each
Show Type - $25 each

Boarding:
30 Day Hold - Free
7 Day Extension - $4 per mouse, per every 7 days

Adoption Application & Waitlist Form

To adopt out mice from use or to be put on our waitlist we have a questionnaire that needs to be filled out. Those on our waitlist will be notified when mice are available for purchase.

Waitlisters will be able to pre-claim mice before they are posted when they are 4 weeks old, payment is not needed until they are 6 weeks olds at which point payment is due and they are ready to be picked up/transported.

Information & TOS

All fancy mice purchased come with 100-200g of their current food (Mazuri® Rat & Mouse Diet). Fancy mice eat 5-8g per day, per mouse.

100g - 1-3 Mice
200g - 4+ Mice

We require proof that if you are buying a solo female from us that you already have females in your possession and that you plan on housing them together.

All our available mice are individually pictured and have linage available upon request. We will include their sex and DOB in their photo, along with any recessive genes they may carry. If you are looking for mice to breed, please let us know.

If you purchase 5 or more fancy mice, we will offer a 15% discount. This discount is mix & match so you may get any variety, type, or sex.

Fancy mice cannot leave my mousery until they are atleast 6 weeks old.

Pickup/Delivery
Mice are available locally for pickup or short distance delivery by us. We are happy to work with transporters, please keep in mind though once a mouse leaves our Mousery we are no longer responsible for it. Buyer is responsible for any transport fees that may apply, and risks involved.

All mice must be paid in full before pickup. We do not accept cash as a form of payment for mice at this time. We currently only accept payment through PayPal.

Reservations/Boarding
To reserve a mouse, they must be paid in full beforehand.

If your mice cannot be pickup within 30-days, we offer a boarding service for a small fee. This fee is a flat rate of $4 per mouse, per every 7 days added, this fee is nonrefundable, we will hold mice for up to 60 days.

This boarding fee does not apply to any mice under 6 weeks old, mice pre-claimed before then are voided for these fees for 60 days after they hit 6 weeks old. After this 60 day period boarding fees will apply.

Refunds
All sales are final, deposits & boarding fees are non-refundable. For mice purchased locally we offer a 60-day health guarantee, if any issues are to arise during this time, we can offer a refund/replacement.
