Adoption Information

Our mice and hamsters are available for adoption between 5–8 weeks of age, depending on the species and individual development.

Female fancy mice must be adopted in pairs unless they will be joining an already established group. Mice are highly social animals and thrive with companionship.

Adoption & Waitlist Forms

To adopt one of our small animals or to be added to our waitlist, a completed questionnaire is required. This helps us ensure our animals are placed in suitable homes and allows us to better match adopters with available animals.

Pricing & Deposit Information

Hamsters are available for reservation once they are 2 weeks old. A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your baby.

Deposits will only be refunded in the event that the animal(s) are unable to leave our fuzzery due to health concerns, unforeseen circumstances, or issues on our end that prevent placement.

If a buyer chooses to cancel, backs out, or is unable to complete the purchase, the deposit will not be refunded.

Deposits go toward the final purchase price.

What Comes With Your Animal

All animals purchased from ChimpkinNBean’s Fuzzery come with:

• 100–200g of their current food
  (Mazuri Rat & Mouse Diet)
• Millet sprays
• A small Whimzees chew

All available animals are individually photographed and can have lineage information provided upon request.

Each listing will include:

• Sex

Multi-Animal Discount

We offer a 15% discount when purchasing:

• 5 or more fancy mice
• 3 or more dwarf hamsters

This discount is mix-and-match within the same species, meaning you may choose any combination of:

Adoption Age

Animals will not leave our Fuzzery before:

• 5 weeks of age minimum

However, we generally prefer to place animals between:

• 6–8 weeks old

to ensure proper development and socialization.

Pickup & Delivery

Animals are available for:

• Local pickup
• Short-distance delivery

We are also willing to work with trusted ground transporters when needed.

Please note:

• Once an animal leaves our care, we are no longer responsible for the animal during transport
• Buyers are responsible for all transportation fees
• Buyers must understand and accept the risks associated with animal transport

All animals must be paid in full prior to pickup.

Boarding

We offer a free 30-day hold period after purchase.

If pickup cannot be arranged within 30 days, boarding is available for:

• $4 per animal
• Per additional 7-day period

Boarding fees are non-refundable.

We provide a 60-day health guarantee on animals purchased directly from us. If a health issue arises during this period, we may offer:

• A replacement animal
• A refund at our discretion
  

Please note that this health guarantee becomes voided once animals are transported through third-party due to the risks associated with travel and handling outside our care.
