Bumblebee millipedes make great first-time pedes for new keepers looking to get into the hobby or just enjoy an interesting pet.

This species is on the small size only reaching up to 2 inches in length. Provide at least 3 inches of a substate rich in organic matter, such as leaf litter and rotten wood, this will act as their main diet since they are detritivores. Supplemental foods can be provided, most commonly offered are fresh fruit and vegetables along with fish flakes.
